ANAMBRA TRANSPORT TEAM VISITS LAGFERRY TO UNDERSTUDY OPERATIONS
The critical case for Peer Review Mechanism among the States of the Federation was brought to the fore recently when the Transportation Team of Anambra State Government visited Lagos State to understudy the successful implementation and positive impacts of the bespoke Multi-Modal Transport System with Alternative Inter-Connecting Options of Road (BRT, LAGRIDE, First Mile – Last Mile Bus), Rail (Blue Line & Red Line) and Water (LAGFERRY).
The management team and operations crew of LAGFERRY warmly received the Commissioner for Transport of Anambra State, Barr. (Mrs.) Patricia Ifeoma Igwebuike, her Local Government and Community Affairs counterpart and other State functionaries at the magnificent Five Cowries Terminal, Falomo-Ikoyi from where the team was given practical operational procedures and a memorable sailing experience to savour the coastal ambience of Lagos State.
At the end of the sailing experience, the Anambra Team was presented with brand new, standard life jackets on behalf of the state.
