Six killed, many injured in Taraba bomb blast: Police

No fewer than six persons were killed and 19 injured in a bomb blast at Iware International Cattle market in Taraba state, police authorities in the state have confirmed.
DSP Abdulahi Usman, police spokesman in the state, on Wednesday, confirmed the number in Jalingo.
Mr Usman said that the command had swiftly commenced investigation into the sad occurrence, adding that it had also deployed the Anti Bomb Squad Unit and other relevant units of the command to ensure that the perpetrators were apprehended and brought to book.
