Seven people killed in another California mass shooting

At least seven people were shot dead in another mass shooting in Half Moon Bay, California, on Monday afternoon, according to a statement from Sheriff Christina Corpus’s office.
An eighth person critically injured is receiving treatment at Stanford Medical Centre.
Ms Corpus said a 67-year-old suspect, Zhao Chunli, believed to have acted alone, was already in custody and “fully cooperating” with law enforcement officers.
The shooting occurred at two locations near Highway 92 and Half Moon Bay city in the presence of farmworkers and little children.
“There is no current outstanding threat to the community,” the statement from the sheriff’s office said while stressing that a motive was yet to be established for the crime.
In a previous mass shooting in California, 11 persons were killed and several others severely wounded after a shooter opened fire on ballroom dance goers in Monterey Park, California, on Saturday night.
