Second woman dies after stampede at Asake’s London concert

A 23-year-old woman, Gabrielle Hutchinson, has died as a result of severe injuries she sustained following the stampede at Asake’s Brixton Academy concert in London.
Her death was announced after she passed away at the hospital in the early hours of Monday, December 19.
Ms Hutchinson becomes the second casualty recorded from the stampede that occurred at the entrance of the concert venue on December 15.
Her death follows that of 33-year-old Rebecca Ikumelo who died on Saturday morning.
According to reports from the metropolitan police, the 23-year-old worked as a contract security personnel at the entrance of the concert venue on the night of Asake’s gig.
The Metropolitan police have set up an online portal for people to tender valuable information, video clips, and pictures of the incident to unravel the cause of the stampede.
Meanwhile, another 21-year-old is reportedly in critical condition at the hospital.
The three women were present at the entrance of the venue when the stampede broke after concertgoers allegedly tried to force their way into the venue.
