Sallah: Zamfara communities receive 100 cows to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir

Abdulmalik Zubairu (APC-Zamfara) has donated 100 cows to communities in his Bungudu-Maru constituency in Zamfara for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Mr Zubairu said the gesture was part of his welfare package to the people for the festival.
He said this during the distribution of the cows in Bungudu town, Bungudu local government area, on Sunday.
Mr Zubairu, represented by the chairman of the APC Bungudu LGA, Kabiru Dankulu, said cows were for various categories of beneficiaries.
The chairman of the distribution committee, Hamisu Iko, said the beneficiaries comprised the APC executives in Bungudu and Maru local government areas, APC ward executives, youths and women groups, party supporters and associations.
“Other beneficiaries include orphans, IDPs and less privileged people in Maru and Bungudu areas,” Mr Iko said.
He commended the lawmaker for his various socio-economic interventions to the constituents, especially at the grassroots.
