Remi Tinubu condoles families of victims in Ibadan building collapse

The first lady, Oluremi Tinubu, condoled the families of victims of a collapsed building on Thursday in the Amuloko area of Ibadan, Oyo state.
In a condolence message to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, Mrs Tinubu expressed sadness over the occurrence.
“I condole with Gov. Makinde and the good people of the state over the unfortunate building collapse at Amuloko. My heart also goes out to the families affected by the incident.
“In this time of grief, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
“I commend and thank all the first responders and medical teams who are working tirelessly for their courage, dedication and compassion since the incident,” she said.
The first lady also prayed to God to comfort those who have lost their loved ones to the tragedy and wish the injured ones a speedy recovery.
Not fewer than ten persons were feared dead when a storey building collapsed on Thursday morning.
The general manager, Oyo State Fire Services Agency, Yemi Akinyinka, said that seven others sustained injuries in the incident that reportedly occurred at about 2 a.m.
He said the agency received a distress call about the collapsed building and immediately deployed personnel to the scene for rescue.
