Rangers will bounce back to winning ways soon, says coach Ilechukwu

Rangers International FC of Enugu coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has assured the club supporters that the team will return to winning after losing 2-0 to Bendel Insurance in Benin City.
This is contained in a statement from club media officer Norbert Okolie in Enugu on Monday.
The coach was optimistic that his team would bounce back in the next match against Gombe United, to be played inside the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
Rangers lost the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match on day 17 to Bendel Insurance by 2-0.
Ilechukwu said the loss was avoidable going by the level of preparation for the match, but some mistakes from his backline paid to all the expectations.
“Football has come to show that no team is a small team, and we came to Benin with full optimism to get an excellent result.
“We failed to achieve our set targets as we lost the match, and we returned home to prepare for our next match to ensure we bounced back to winning ways.
“It has been a challenging season, but we are working hard to ensure that we rediscover our winning formula,” Ilechukwu said.
Rangers maintain the 9th spot on the league table with 22 points from 16 matches and will next engage Gombe United on match day 18, to be played on January 14, 2024.
