Pregnant tennis star Kerber to miss U.S. Open

Former world tennis number one Angelique Kerber is pregnant, her management team disclosed on Wednesday.
The three-time Grand Slam winner is expecting her first child and will not play in the U.S. Open starting on Monday.
Kerber, 34, last played at Wimbledon in July.
Her management team, however, added that the pregnancy did not mean the end of her career.
