Police say Black Axe hitman ‘Butcher’ arrested in TASUED

The Ogun police command says it arrested a suspected cultist, Abdul-Azeez Ibrahim, an “extra-year student of the Tai Solarin University of Education.
The police announced the suspect’s arrest on X Monday.
Disclosing this on his official X handle on Monday, the Force Public Relations Officer, , stated that the suspect was arrested on Saturday at about 2.30 am.
“Ogun state police command, on 27th January, 2024, at about 2.30am, arrested One Abdul-Azeez Ibrahim, aka Butcher, m, in Ijebu Ode area.
“He is the hitman and armourer for the Neo Black Movement of Africa, aka Black Axe, in Ijebu Ode. He is an extra year student of Tai Solarin University of Education Ijagun Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
“The Ogun state police command will address the media on this case and many others as soon as possible,” police spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi posted on X.
Mr Ogunjobi added, “With all the jazz, he was still arrested. Cultism is criminal, evil. Cult groups are not social clubs. They are full of trauma, stress, and destruction. Be careful and do away with it.”
