Police rescue two of six pupils abducted in Nasarawa by unknown gunmen

The police in Nasarawa have rescued two out of six pupils abducted from Local Education Authority Primary School, Alwaza in Doma LGA of the State.
The six pupils were kidnapped on Friday morning by gunmen riding on motorcycles.
Police spokesman in the state, Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the rescue of two of the victims in a statement issued on Saturday in Lafia.
He said efforts were ongoing by the police search teams and other security agencies to rescue the four other pupils unhurt.
He expressed gratitude for the public’s support in the rescue so far and assured that the assailants would be brought to book.
Mr Nansel appealed to the public to assist with information that could expedite the rescue of the four pupils still in captivity.
