Police raid criminals’ hideout in Lagos, arrest 27

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the police have arrested 27 criminal suspects in the Agege and Oshodi areas of the state.
RRS confirmed the arrest in a statement posted on its official X handle @rrsLagos767 on Saturday.
It said the suspects were arrested at about 11:00 p.m. on Thursday after credible intelligence on their hideouts.
“The suspects consist of 25 males and two females,” RRS said. “They were arrested in Agege Underbridge, Oke Koto, Akerele, Markaz, Tabon–Tabon, and Oshodi, among others.”
“The commander of RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, said that the squad is taking the fight to the criminals in their hideouts,” it added.
According to the RRS, the suspects will be charged to court in line with the directives of Commissioner of Police Lagos, CP Adegoke Fayoade.
