Police nab Lagos woman over urine

A 42-year-old woman, Bosede Enigbokun, has been arraigned before the Ojo Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for pouring urine on the ground in her residence.
The defendant, a trader, is standing trial before Magistrate L.J.k Layeni on two counts of causing a breach of peace and assault.
She, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Prosecution counsel Simon Uche told the court that the defendant committed the offence on October 3 at No. 2 Sunny St., Ajangbadi area of Ojo Lagos.
He alleged that the defendant, who occupies a flat on the top floor of the building, poured urine on the ground floor occupied by other tenants, causing environmental pollution to their annoyance.
Ms Enigbokun also allegedly assaulted a neighbour, Adesina Oloye, tearing his cloth.
The court granted the defendant N50,000 bail with one surety in like sum.
He adjourned the case until December 28 for trial.
