Police, FRSC reaffirm commitment to public safety in Adamawa

The police and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Adamawa have restated their commitment to strengthening collaboration for public safety.
This was made known during the courtesy visit by the newly deployed Adamawa sector commander of FRSC, Abdulmalik Bello, to the Commissioner of Police (CP), Morris Dankombo, on Friday.
Mr Bello said the visit aimed to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and foster closer ties in the areas of public safety, public order and improved service delivery to the people of Adamawa.
He reaffirmed the FRSC’s commitment to deepening inter-agency collaboration and lauded the police command for its unwavering support toward promoting peace and security in the state.
In his remarks, the CP appreciated the FRSC’s sustained partnership and the command’s readiness to maintain synergy in promoting the safety of both travellers and residents across the state.
The command also received a delegation from the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), led by the regional coordinator for North-East, Mustapha Tukur.
Mrs Tukur expressed appreciation for the command’s commitment to protecting the rights of citizens and upholding the dignity of persons.
The commissioner welcomed the delegation and assured the command’s openness to collaboration in advancing human rights, accountability, and public trust in the policing system.
