Police detain Abuja pastor over AK-47, recommend inspector’s dismissal

The FCT police command has detained Uche Aigbe, presiding pastor of House on the Rock, Abuja, for wielding an AK-47 rifle during a sermon on Sunday.
Commissioner of Police in the FCT, Sadiq Abubakar, also recommended the dismissal of Inspector Musa Audu, for handing his riffle to the pastor to be used for demonstration during the service.
The recommendation was made to the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba.
Both inspector Audu and Pastor Aigbe were detained by the Intelligence Response Team, Force Intelligence Bureau, Garki, Abuja, on Monday.
Recall that pastor Aigbe had on Sunday mounted the podium while wielding an AK-47 riffle during the church’s second service, and preached on the topic, “Guarding your hearts from false teachers”.
