Mr Akinrinola was arraigned on a charge of impersonation, to which he pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Femi Olanibi, told the court that the defendant allegedly committed the offence on July 10 at about 1:00 p.m. at Idi-Ape, Ibadan.

Mr Olanibi alleged that the defendant, with intent to defraud, falsely presented himself on WhatsApp, Gmail and the Meetup application as a white man residing in the United States.
