Pakistani officials rescue nine Indians stranded in Arabian Sea

Officials from the Pakistani navy and Maritime Security Agency rescued nine Indian nationals stranded in the open sea in the Arabian Sea.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) media wing of the Pakistani military said this in a statement.
The statement said the Indian citizens had been stranded in a boat in distress for 24 hours in the open sea when the Pakistani security agencies reached out to them and conducted a successful rescue operation.
Upon receiving information about the stranded people, a search and rescue operation was launched, and the Pakistani navy officials resolved technical issues of the Indian boat, it said.
The Pakistani team also provided medical assistance to the affected individuals and ensured the safety of the distressed boat, it added.
