Oyo Christians asked to fast and pray for three days

Oyo State Chapter of Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) has declared a three-day fast and prayer ahead of Easter celebration.
The state Chairman of CAN, Apostle Joshua Akinyemiju, made the disclosure in a statement on Thursday in Ibadan.
Mr Akinyemiju said that all Christians in the state would be expected to participate in the exercise to take place from April 7 to April 9.
He called for intensified prayers, particularly for peace and security in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
“May the Lord hearken unto our voices and accept our supplications,” he said.
