OsunDecides: My husband will emerge governor, says Oyebamiji’s wife

The wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Dr Sekinah Oyebamiji, has confidence in her husband’s victory in the ongoing governorship election in the state.
Mrs Oyebamiji spoke shortly after casting her ballot at Ward 9, Unit 003, AUD Primary School, Ikire, in the Irewole Local Government Area.
She commended the conduct of the election, describing voter turnout as impressive and expressing optimism that her husband would emerge victorious at the end of voting in the state.
Mrs Oyebamiji said the electoral process had so far been peaceful and orderly and commended officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their professional conduct throughout the voting exercise so far.
“The voter turnout is quite impressive. The INEC officials are conducting themselves professionally. There are police officers around.” she said, adding that the presence of police officers helped maintain order during voting.
“I think the process is good so far. The expectation is that Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji will carry the day,” she said, expressing confidence in the candidate’s prospects at the polls.
