Osun gets new FRSC sector commander

Inyang Umoh has assumed duty as the new sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun command.
Agnes Ogungbemi, the FRSC spokesperson in Osun, said in a statement on Friday in Osogbo that Mr Umoh was posted to the command after Henry Benamaisia was deployed to Rivers as the zonal commanding officer.
“Due to the elevation of Benamaisia, the management of the FRSC deemed it necessary to deploy another experienced officer, Umoh, to pilot the affairs of the FRSC in Osun,” she said.
Ms Ogungbemi stated that the new commander, who hailed from Akwa Ibom, joined the services of FRSC in 1996 and attended the University of Uyo.
