One dead, 12 injured in Lagos building collapse 

He said that search and rescue operation was still ongoing.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed one dead in a building collapse in the Ojodu-Berger area, Lagos State.

It also confirmed that 12 persons had been rescued so far from the rubble of the three-storey building.

Ibrahim Farinloye, NEMA coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office, confirmed said this in a statement on Saturday in Lagos.

Mr Farinloye said the cause of the collapsed was yet to be ascertained.

He said that search and rescue operation was still ongoing.

The incident happened around 09.45 hrs.
