Ondo police command gets new spokesperson

The police command in Ondo State has announced the appointment of DSP Ayanlade Olushola as its new Public Relations Officer.
A statement by the command made available to journalists in Akure on Friday said that Olushola replaces CSP Funmilayo Odunlami, who is now the Divisional Police Officer, Ijapo Divisional Police headquarters in Akure.
According to the statement, the new spokesman is a graduate of Sociology from the Nigeria Police Academy, Regular Course 2 with a master’s degree in Criminology and Security studies.
The statement said further that Ms Olushola had served in various capacities as Divisional Traffic Officer, and Divisional Crime Officer.
He is also a member International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), and International Association of Crime Analyst
It stated, “This is to inform the general public that a new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) has been deployed and has officially assumed duty. The new PPRO will serve as the official spokesperson for Ondo State Police Command and will be responsible for managing the command’s image and communication with the members of the public.’’
The command urged the public and the media to support and cooperate with the new PPRO in the discharge of his duties.
