Ondo police arraign hairstylist, two others for theft of sewing machine, motor spare parts

A hairstylist, Sadiq Oyedokun and two others, Busari Ayomide and Ayomiposi Ojoko, were on Monday arraigned at a magistrates’ court in Akure, Ondo capital, for allegedly stealing a sewing machine and motor spare parts.
Debbie Msonter-Shagba, the prosecutor, told the court that the defendants committed the crime on August 19, 2024, in Akure.
Ms Msonter-Shagba explained that the trio were arrested by the men of Osun State Security Network Corp, codenamed Amotekun, and brought back to Ondo State.
She said the stolen machine, valued at N100,000, belonged to one Pastor Olawole, while the stolen motor spare parts, valued at N150,000, were the property of one Victor.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
Ruling on the case, Magistrate Damilola Sekoni granted the defendants N200,000 bail with two sureties each and adjourned the case to October 2 for a hearing.
