Ondo Assembly serves deputy gov. Aiyedatiwa letter of allegation

The Ondo State House of Assembly has served Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, a letter of allegation signaling his impeachment process.
Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, while briefing journalists on Monday in Akure, said Mr Aiyedatiwa was served today through a substituted service.
The house, on Wednesday, during a plenary session, directed the clerk to write the deputy governor on alleged gross misconduct.
According to Mr Oladiji, since Wednesday, Sept. 20, the house has been trying to see how to serve Mr Aiyedatiwa the notice but was unable to achieve it until it went through the court.
“We got an affidavit from the court through substituted service, so he has been served through his office. It was received by his secretary,” he said.
