Ojokoro LCDA appeals to Sanwo-Olu over deplorable roads
A group, Ojokoro Progressive Movement, has appealed to the Lagos State Government over the deplorable state of some roads in the Ojokoro Local Council Development Area.
Leader of the group, Olaniyi Ilori, made the appeal in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.
Mr Ilori said that recently, the group from across the seven wards in Ojokoro, went on an inspection tour of some bad roads in the area.
The roads are: Pipeline Road in Ward A; Amusan/Pupoosola Road and bridge in Ward B; Jibowu Road in Ward C; Jankara Temple Road in Ward D; Adegolu Fatunbi Road in Ward E; Gbadabiu Road in Ward F and Gbeleyi St. in Ward G.
He said, “A letter and pictures of the bad roads were submitted to the governor’s office and necessary quarters. We appeal for urgent response from the governor within the first quarter of year 2025 projects. Ojokoro LCDA is one of the LCDAs in Lagos State that voted massively for the All Progressives Congress at the last general elections and we deserve more infrastructure and human development.’’
