This is contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Oba of Benin, Osaigbovo Iguobaro, on Monday.
The monarch said that the milestone was a testament to Mr Iguobaro’s unwavering dedication and remarkable professionalism, which had significantly contributed to knowledge, truth, and justice in the legal profession.
The king noted that as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria about to assume the prestigious position of Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin, he prayed to God and the ancestors to guide and protect him in his new role.
