NSCDC promotes 102 personnel in Niger

The Niger State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has decorated its 102 newly-promoted personnel with new ranks.
The commandant, Mohammed Dandare, decorated the personnel at the command’s headquarters in Minna, the state capital, on Wednesday.
Mr Dandare said the 102 personnel from several divisions of the command were promoted due to their commitment to duty.
He thanked the commandant-general of the NSCDC, Ahmed Audi, for recognising the hard work of the personnel.
The commandant said the command would continue to provide security for residents of the 25 local government areas of the state.
Mr Dandare reiterated the commandant general’s commitment to protecting critical national assets.
He called on the officers to intensify efforts to protect the assets.
”I call on officers and men of the command to remain steadfast and committed to duty,” he said.
He appealed to the state’s residents to assist the command with reliable information that could help in apprehending and prosecuting suspected criminals.
