Nigeria one of most stock-obsessed countries worldwide: Report

Nigeria is one of the nations most interested in stock and trading in 2022, according to a new report by CMC Market, a UK-based financial services company.
Nigeria was ranked as the tenth most stock-obsessed nation worldwide in the report seen by Peoples Gazette on Friday.
The report used Google Trends to identify the nations with the highest stock interest based on global searches for terms related to stocks and trading.
According to the study, Singapore is the nation with the highest level of interest in stocks and trading. Singapore topped the list for its population having the highest search levels for the terms “stocks,” “buy stocks,” and “interest rate” globally, with a total search score of 555 out of a possible 700.
The study also found that, after Americans and Indians, Singaporeans are the third most likely people worldwide to search for “stock market.”
