Ngaski local govt says 2,000 received free medical treatment in Kebbi

Ngaski LGA in Kebbi says it offered free medical treatment to 2,000 patients suffering from various ailments in the area.
Council chair Maniru Abubakar-Warah stated this while briefing journalists in Warra town of Ngaski LGA on Monday.
“No fewer than 2,000 people have benefitted from our medical outreach in less than 10 months of our administration. The medical team has successfully performed 100 surgeries on people inflicted with different diseases.
“The team had also examined and treated 1,000 people with different ailments and provided drugs for them.
“This is in addition to more than 50 paediatrics patients treated as well as more than 50 patients treated with eye problems,” he said.
According to him, the essence of the exercise is to assist less privileged people with health challenges in accessing healthcare services in the area.
Mr Abubakar-Warah said that without health, they could neither transact business nor cultivate their farms.
He appealed to the people to reciprocate the gesture by extending all the necessary support and cooperation to the present administration of Governor Nasir Idris.
The chairman thanked the governor for the support and encouragement, which gave the council chairpersons across the state the opportunity to deliver the dividends of democracy to their constituents.
