The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has urged Nigerian youths to shun acts inimical to human and societal development.

Mr Jatau gave the advice on Friday while speaking during ECWA Youth Fellowship 2024 annual conference in Moroa, Kokona Local Government Area.

The speaker urged the youths to take their education seriously, adding that no nation can achieve meaningful development without sound education.

He donated N1 million to support the development of a Mosque and support for ECWA Youth Fellowship in Moroa community.

” I want to commend you for organising this fellowship as it is good to come together to praise and worship the lord.

“Please take your education seriously as it is one of the best ways to excel in life,” he said.

He further urged the youths to obey their parents and the commandments of God for societal development.

“I am just coming from a programme, where I have donated N500,000 for Mosque development and I will also donate N500,000 to support your church activities.

“Please let’s live in peace, unity and embrace religious tolerance as we are all one in the eyes of God,” he said.

The speaker called on everyone in the state to continue to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state to succeed.

Also speaking, Pastor David Baka, former Secretary, Teachers Service Commission (TSC) called on the people of the church to continue to pray for the speaker, governor and other leaders to succeed.

Mr Baka urged the youths to continue to be law abiding and worship God with sincerity for them to excel in life.

Earlier, Rev. Magaji Wamba, Reverend in charge of ECWA Madaki- Moroa, Rev. Christopher Alaku, reverend in charge of ECWA Moroa and Bitrus Galadima, chairman, ECWA Youth Fellowship, Moroa, appreciated God for seeing them throughout the two days conference.

They appreciated Jatau and other dignitaries for attending the conference and prayed to God to bless them abundantly.

They assured the speaker and the governor of their prayers and support to succeed.

The clergymen prayed for God’s protection, guidance, blessings and favours for the speaker to succeed in his duty.
