Napoli win Supercoppa, beat Bologna 2-0

Italian defending champions Napoli were crowned Supercoppa champions after beating Bologna 2–0 in Saudi Arabia, with the victory coming from a David Neres brace.
The Italian cup final saw the Scudetto winners brush aside Bologna in a clean sweep, netting two goals at Riyadh’s Al-Awwal Stadium to lift their third all-time Super Cup.
The early moments of the game saw Napoli with the upper hand, and minutes into the match, the Serie A champions took the lead with an outstanding goal from David Neres, who received a pass from Matteo Politano before firing a well-placed shot from outside the 18-yard box.
After the first-half break, Napoli struck again as the Brazilian winger scored from close range with a solo goal, finding the bottom corner of the opposition’s net to seal the victory for Antonio Conte.
Bologna struggled to pose any real threat throughout the match, a disappointing outing for Vincenzo Italiano’s men, who had earlier knocked out Inter Milan on penalties in the semi-finals.
