Naira recovers, gains N1.24 at official market

The naira on Wednesday appreciated at the official market, trading at N1,379.46 against the U.S. dollar.
According to data released on the Central Bank of Nigeria’s website, the naira gained N1.24.
This represents a 0.09 per cent gain when compared to Tuesday, when the local currency traded at N1,380.70 to the dollar.
The naira, which had been on a decline for almost two weeks before appreciating on Wednesday, traded at N1,364.23 on Monday.
