Naira depreciates by 0.2% against dollar at official market

The naira on Thursday depreciated at the official market trading at N1,650.20 against the dollar.
Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange revealed that the naira lost N4.8.
This represents a 0.29 per cent loss compared to the previous trading date on Wednesday when it exchanged at N1,645.40 to a dollar.
Also, the daily turnover reduced to $214.73 million on Thursday, down from $236.84 million recorded on Wednesday.
At the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the naira traded between N1,698.25 and N1,633 against the dollar.
