The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced the release of certificates for candidates who sat for its examinations up to 2024.

This was stated in a notice signed by NABTEB’s CEO, Aminu Mohammed, and made available on Friday in Benin.

Mr Mohammed said the certificates were ready for successful candidates to collect, urging them to follow the prescribed procedures to obtain them.

The notice covered certificates for the May/June National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate examinations.

Others are certificates for the November/December NBC, NTC, Advanced National Business Certificate and Advanced National Technical Certificate examinations.

The registrar advised candidates who sat for the May/June examinations to collect their certificates from the schools where they registered and took the examinations.

“Those who sat for the November/December examinations are to collect their certificates from NABTEB offices in the states where they registered and sat for the examinations,” he said.

The NABTEB boss listed valid means of identification, such as the National Identification Number or driver’s licence, among the requirements for collection.

“Candidates seeking to collect November/December certificates are also required to present their statement of result or NABTEB online printout containing their examination details,” he said.

He noted that other requirements included a passport-sized photograph with a red background and payment of an approved collection fee of N1,000, excluding statutory online charges, for November/December certificates.

The registrar stressed that certificate collection was restricted to bona fide candidates, warning that only genuine candidates would be issued their certificates.
