Mohbad’s untimely death bothers me more than losing followers on Instagram: Naira Marley

In the wake of the significant drop in Instagram followers for Naira Marley after the death of singer, Mohbad, the ‘Soapy’ crooner has openly declared that the fans he lost held little significance in comparison to the heart-wrenching loss of his former signee, Mohbad.
In an interview with former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, Naira Marley said the decline in followers resulting from the allegations did not bother him as his primary focus at the moment is to uncover the cause of Mohbad’s passing.
“Losing followers is not anything to me right now, that’s a small thing in this situation. Mohbad is not here anymore, I rather lose all my followers than not have him here, the government is doing its job and I believe the truth will come out” Naira Marley said.
On September 12, coinciding with the unfortunate passing of Mohbad, Naira Marley’s Instagram follower count stood at 7.5 million. However, following allegations linking him to Mohbad’s demise, his followers gradually dwindled, and he now maintains a following of 6.8 million.
Naira Marley has released two statements denying his involvement in the late singer’s death. He also said he would honour the police invitation if his safety was guaranteed while expressing his interest in helping the police uncover the truth behind the death of Mohbad.
The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s demise remain shrouded in mystery, and his fans are anxiously anticipating Naira Marley’s return to Nigeria to address the inquiries from the police.
