Mohbad: Primeboy surrenders to police after being declared wanted

Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, has voluntarily surrendered to law enforcement after he previously failed to respond to a police summons regarding the controversial demise of Mohbad.
The Lagos State police command officially confirmed Primeboy’s surrender on Thursday, which transpired within less than 24 hours of his declaration as a wanted individual, accompanied by a N1 million reward for information that might lead to his arrest.
A video shared by TVC on Thursday showcases the arrival of Primeboy and his legal counsel at the headquarters of the Lagos State police command.
During an exclusive interview with TVC, he refuted the claim that he had not maintained contact with the police to comply with their summons.
He said, “I can’t say that’s a big lie like how will I receive a message from the police and I will refuse them even before all these wanted issue I even want to turn myself in not turning I want to go and explain myself at the station because people started accusing me wrongly so but people I call said I should chill that should not go anywhere so the police will not that should wait for them to invite me so I keep waiting and suddenly I just found myself wanted online yesterday”.
Primeboy maintained that he was nowhere near Mohbad on the fateful day of his passing.
“We went our separate ways after his Sunday show,” Primeboy recounted. “He actually kicked me out of the car because he and his wife were embroiled in a private conversation – a family matter.”
He asserted that he played a significant role in Mohbad’s life and passionately proclaimed, “I was everything to Mohbad.” He ardently called for justice in Mohbad’s case and added, “I want justice for Mohbad and I want his wife to stop framing me online, that’s wrong.”
