Masari declares Thursday, Friday holidays for Buhari’s Katsina visit

Governor Aminu Masari’s government has declared Thursday and Friday as a holiday for Katsina workers to receive President Muhammadu Buhari.
This was stated in a statement by Sani Kabomo, the permanent secretary at the Ministry of Culture and Home Affairs, on Wednesday.
The president is expected to be in Katsina to inaugurate projects executed by Mr Masari.
The statement explained that the work-free days would not affect federal workers in the state, banks and essential service providers.
It urged Katsina civil servants and the public to come out en masse to welcome Mr Buhari and his entourage.
Mr Buhari hails from Daura in Katsina.
The statement also advised the residents to exhibit a high sense of decorum and traditional hospitality during the president’s visit.
