A 52-year-old man, Kabiru Owoade, allegedly found in possession of arms and causing breach of the peace, on Tuesday, was arraigned before an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The defendant, an inhabitant of Adetinu Village, Akufo area of Ibadan, was arraigned on four counts of conspiracy, possession of arms in public, breach of peace and threat to life.

He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The Prosecutor, Sergeant Akeem Akinloye told the court that the defendant with others at large allegedly conspired together to commit the offences.

The Defence Counsel, Kehinde Adebayo, asked the court to grant the defendant bail in liberal terms.

The Chief Magistrate, Olabisi Ogunkanmi, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N2 million and two sureties in like sum.

Ms Ogunkanmi said that one of the sureties must be  a family head (Mogaji) and a blood relative to the defendant.
