Man, 21, in court over alleged theft of generator radiator worth N350,000

The police on Wednesday arraigned a 21-year-old, Lawale Mohammed, before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, Oyo State, for allegedly stealing a generator radiator worth N350,000.
Mohammed, whose address was not provided, was charged with conspiracy and stealing, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecutor, Inspector Adeshina Folaranmi, told the court that the defendant committed the offences on May 23, at about 2.00 a.m. at Podo area of Ibadan.
He alleged that the defendant and others at large jumped the fence of 200 Stars Industrial Company, Podo and stole the firm’s generator radiator.
He said the offences contravened Sections 516 and 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, Oluwabusayo Osho, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 with two reliable sureties in like sum.
She thereafter adjourned the case until July 15 for hearing.
