Makinde replaces women affairs commissioner Balogun with Sanni in minor cabinet reshuffle

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has sacked the women affairs and social inclusion commissioner, Toyin Balogun, with immediate effect.
Mr Makinde announced the development in a statement by his spokesperson Suleimon Olanrewaju, in Ibadan on Wednesday.
Ms Faosat Joke Sanni will now be in charge of the ministry.
Appreciating Ms Balogun for her contributions to the development of the state, Mr Makinde wished her success in her future endeavour.
Mrs Sanni earlier served as the commissioner for women affairs and social inclusion from 2019 to 2023 and was moved to the special duties ministry in 2023 before her recent redeployment to the ministry of trade, industry and cooperative.
