Lewandowski scores twice as blistering Barcelona crush Real Valladolid

Robert Lewandowski scored twice on Sunday night at the Camp Nou to help Barcelona to an emphatic 4-0 win at home to Real Valladolid.
Barcelona dominated proceedings in the first half, and it was no surprise that the Polish striker was on the end of a sumptuous Raphinha cross to open the scoring in the 24th minute.
As the game headed into halftime, Ousmane Dembele found teammate Pedri Gonzalez with an intelligent square ball, the Spanish midfielder side-footing the ball into the bottom corner.
Barcelona continued their dominance in the second period, displaying the sort of swagger missing from the Catalan side for a while.
Just after the hour mark, Dembele tore through the Real defence again, this time to set up Lewandowski, who produced a moment of magic, backheeling the ball into the net for his second of the night and Barcelona’s third.
Dembele continued to mesmerise, as did the entire team, but it was substitute Sergi Roberto who scored the fourth just before full-time.
Lewandowski had a shot saved onto the crossbar by Jordi Masip from point-blank range, but Roberto was on hand to tap in the rebound to complete a superb evening for Barcelona.
