The Senator representing Lagos-West Senatorial District, Idiat Adebule, on Saturday, described the late Akran of Badagry, Aholu Menu Toyi 1, as a man of development, greatness and peace.

The late Akran of Badagry, Aholu Menu Toyi 1, died on Monday, after a brief illness.

According to the senator, the Akran was a kind man, ever ready to listen, ready to open his doors to everyone.

‘Baba represented development, greatness and peace in Badagry.

“He supported his subjects to attain greater heights,” she said.

Mrs Adebule recalled Akran’s assistance to her while she served at the Lagos State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) as commissioner.

“Baba will compile the list of people that would assume the position of Principal and Vice-Principal to me.

“Akran will say, these people are eligible and competent for the position, kindly assist me

“This shows that Akran is someone who had compassion and concern about development not only for the town, but also for the people of the town,” she said.
