In a post on its official X handle on Tuesday, LASEPA explained that the establishments were shut down for allegedly not complying with the state’s environmental laws.
According to the statement, the agency said their shutting down of the establishments was to intensify, “enforcement efforts against violators of the State Environmental Laws 2017.”
The agency noted that the affected establishments include: Rockslide Gospel Church, Unique Caesar and Bar, Recycling Company, New Yorker Hotel and Flex Bar & Spa Hotel.
Others are Mountain of Faith International Gospel, Jesus International Christian Church, VLC Donald Restaurant & Event Centre, Zion Believers Church and VLC Donald Hotel.
“We will not hesitate to take necessary actions against any establishment that fails to comply with the state’s environmental regulations.
