Lagos police nab three one-chance suspects, rescue victim

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three “one-chance” robbery suspects in Lagos and rescued a female victim.
On its official X handle on Saturday, the command said it embarked on the rescue operation in response to a distress call about the crime.
According to the command, the nabbed suspects are identified as Mayowa Akinjide, Aghama Ikponmwen and Ahmed Jaleola, while the name of the rescued victim is Abisola Taiwo.
It read, “One-Chance robbery: Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, responding to a distress call about a one-chance incident, embarked on a rescue operation and rescued one Abisola Taiwo ‘f’.
“The operatives also arrested other members of the gang: Mayowa Akinjide ‘m’, aged 44, Aghama Ikponmwen ‘m’, aged 46 and Ahmed Jaleola ‘m’.”
The command stated that the investigation is ongoing.
