Lagos female biker crushed to death Monday morning

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority says a truck crushed a female riding a motorcycle to death on Monday.
The LASTMA spokesman, Adebayo Taofiq, confirmed this in a statement.
Mr Taofik said the crash occurred at about 6:15 a.m. at Sifax inward Iganmu Bridge.
The LASTMA official, however, stated that the agency and other emergency responders had recovered the body of the victim trapped under the truck.
According to the statement, the truck driver “lost control while in motion, and the truck fell on a female biker while descending Iganmu Bridge.”
LASTMA added that the truck driver, who was speeding, lost control and caused the truck to fall on the female biker.”
The driver afterwards fled the scene.
LASTMA personnel called emergency responders, including the LASEMA Response Unit (LRU), for a rescue operation.
The woman’s remains were taken away by the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS).
