Kyiv Loses over 320 soldiers in Avdiivka direction, Russian Defence claims

Russia has repelled one counter-attack, and Ukraine has lost more than 320 soldiers in the Avdiivka direction, also known as Avdeyevka, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Thursday.
“The enemy lost more than 320 soldiers, a tank, four armoured combat vehicles and seven vehicles.
“During the counter-battery struggle, a U.S.-made M777 artillery system, two D-20 and D-30 howitzers, as well as a U.S.-made gun 102 were destroyed,” the ministry said.
Meanwhile, Russian forces had taken control of the Tonenke village in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the ministry added.
The Ukrainian military had lost up to 250 soldiers in the Donetsk direction in the past day, the ministry said.
According to the ministry, Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 250 service people, two tanks, three armoured combat vehicles and seven vehicles.
The ministry added that in the South Donetsk direction, Ukraine had lost up to 120 soldiers.
