The body of an unidentified man has been recovered from a river near Royal Valley Bridge in the Kulende area of Ilorin, Kwara State.
In a statement on Tuesday, Hassan Adekunle, spokesperson for the Kwara State Fire Service, said the service received a report about a body sighted floating in the river.
“The fire service received the report and turned it out at 15:44hrs after a passerby who noticed the body in the river contacted Sobi FM, which subsequently alerted the fire service,” he said.

He said the body was subsequently handed over to SUP Abdulganiu Garuba of the E-Division Police Station, Kulende, Ilorin, for further necessary action.
