Kwara community organises special prayer for new NNPCL boss Ojulari

The Oke-Ode residents in Ifelodun LGA in Kwara have organised a special prayer for the newly appointed group chief executive officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd, Bashir Ojulari, who hails from the community.
The prayer session was led by the chief missioner of the Oke-Ode Muslim Community, Ilorin Branch, AbdulRauf Balogun, on Thursday at Ansarudeen Mosque, Ilorin.
Mr Balogun prayed for divine guidance, wisdom and protection for the new NNPCL boss.
The missioner also offered special prayers for Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, asking for divine direction for them.
After the prayer, the deputy vice-chancellor of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nurudeen Sikirulahi, who is also the Arogun of Oke-Ode land, thanked Mr Tinubu for appointing a son of the community to such a position.
Mr Sikirulahi urged Mr Ojulari to do his best to succeed in the national assignment.
“We are hopeful and praying that he will do well and remain a good ambassador of his family and the Oke-Ode land at large,” he said.
An aunt of the NNPCL boss, Sidikat Aliyu, described him as a hard-working and experienced professional.
She prayed to God to grant Mr Ojulari the wisdom and strength to excel.
The chairman of the Oke-Ode Muslim community in Ilorin, Mustapha Babatunde, said the community organised the prayer, rather than a celebration, to reiterate the importance of divine guidance in all human endeavours.
Mr Ojulari succeeded Mele Kyari as the NNPCL boss.
