Katsina Hisbah boss solicits NSCDC’s support to tackle immorality

The Katsina State Hisbah Board has solicited the support of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in addressing immorality in the state.
The Hisbah Commander General in the state, Dr Aminu Usman (Abu Amar), said this on Friday during a visit to the NSCDC headquarters in Katsina.
He said that the board was established by Governor Dikko Radda to address the moral decadence and social vices facing the state.
According to the Hisbah commander, the moral decadence and other social vices have contributed to the present security challenges in the state.
He solicited the collaboration, cooperation, assistance and support of NSCDC, especially in the area of sharing credible intelligence.
“We are looking forward to sharing credible intelligence and seeking your support, cooperation and collaboration towards promoting a peaceful and morally sound Katsina State,” Mr Abu Amar said.
The Hisbah boss expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him and his team during the visit.
The NSCDC Commandant in Katsina, Jamilu Indabawa, commended the state government for initiating the Hisbah board in the state.
According to him, the existence of the board will contribute towards the effort of the government in ensuring a better society that everyone can be proud of.
Mr Indabawa assured the Hisbah board of their continuous support, cooperation and collaboration to deliver on its responsibilities.
