Kano police arrest two suspected car thieves, recover stolen vehicles

Operatives of the Kano State Police Command have arrested two suspects and recovered two stolen vehicles from their possession.
The command disclosed this in a post on its X handle, with attached pictures of the recovered vehicles.
“A team from the command’s Special Intervention Squad (SIS) intercepted and arrested suspected car thieves and recovered two motor vehicles.
“The suspects confessed to having stolen the vehicles from Nassarawa State. Investigation ongoing and the vehicles will be handed over to their owners,” the police said on Friday.
The stolen vehicles are Honda Jazz with plate number SUL-173MQ (Niger State) and Pontiac Vibe with plate number SUL-156SM (Niger State).
The command said the operation was conducted in compliance with the directives of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on ensuring round-the-clock visibility patrols.
