Kano hunters, forest service gets 24 complaints in November

The Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service said it received 24 complaints in November.
The commander, Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service, Kano State Command, Abdullahi Al-ameen, disclosed this during an interview with journalists on Wednesday in Kano.
Mr Al-ameen said that the service was trying its best to live up to its mandate in the prevention and detection of crimes and illegal activities perpetrated in the forests.
“Out of the 24 complainants received, 16 had been treated and done with and eight are pending. Most of the cases were on animal theft, kidnapping, phone theft, and motorcycle theft, among others. We will continue to secure and make forest crime-free zones,” he said.
The commander urged the public to cooperate with the service and be law-abiding.
